General Category Services: All members in the general category must bring their own necessary clothing, toiletries, personal items, and bedding (mosquito nets, sheets, blankets), which should be limited to a maximum of one suitcase. If a resident is unable to bring necessary items with them, these can be purchased on their behalf if funds are provided to the office.
Personal Furniture: Bringing personal furniture is generally not allowed. However, residents opting for a single room may bring small-sized personal items or decorations.
Booking and Reservations: If admission is delayed but a room needs to be reserved, the maximum booking period is 15 days. In such cases, the service charge must be paid, excluding food and utility bills. Please note that if a booking is canceled less than 10 days before the scheduled move-in date, the amount paid will be considered non-refundable.
Admission Formalities: The prospective resident cannot begin residing in the home or receiving services until all the required paperwork mentioned above has been provided to and accepted by the Acro authorities. The admission process is complete only after all documents have been handed over and verified.
Health Information Requirements: Information must be provided according to the resident's specific physical and mental condition. For example, a resident undergoing physiotherapy must provide a physiotherapy chart, while someone who does not require this therapy does not need to submit that specific chart.
Documentation Timeliness: If a prospective resident does not have the required documentation listed according to their physical or mental condition, it must be collected before admission. For instance, a prescription older than three months will not be acceptable; an updated prescription from a recent doctor's visit must be provided.
Dietary Regulations: Meals will be provided based on the resident's physical condition and chosen care package. Food purchased from outside shops or items deemed unhealthy by the management cannot be consumed within the premises.
